Location: Remote/On-site/Hybrid

We are looking for a security engineer with knowledge of modern security practices to join us and be part of our team defending our communication services. While many companies take security for granted, WG2 realizes that the security work we do is vital for our platform and our customers.  Because Working Group Two realizes that good security is critical in the current competitive landscape, we have the freedom to take a proactive approach and can plan longer-term and bigger tasks rather than only reacting to immediate needs.

This is a unique opportunity to help shape modern telecommunications.

You will

• Adopt and build security solutions for identifying and preventing misconfigurations across AWS and Kubernetes

• Make security an integral part of our CI/CD pipeline

• Provide security guidance to Engineering and Product teams through threat modeling

• Build security metrics and alerts

We're looking for someone who

• Learns quickly and is comfortable with ambiguity

• Likes to learn about new technologies and acquire new skills 

• Holds themselves and others to a high bar when working with production

• Is able to design and write high-quality code and configuration in a relevant language (e.g. Golang, Python, Terraform).
